Faith Love and Respect

Prayer Resources at Trinity Catholic School

At Trinity Catholic School, prayer and reflection are at the heart of our community life. Rooted in our school mission statement of Faith, Love and Respect, our prayer resources are designed to help students grow spiritually and recognise the presence of God in their everyday lives.

They are available for all to view here.

Across the school year, students engage with a programme of prayer and reflection that follows the story of the Bible — from Creation to Covenant — helping them to understand God’s relationship with humanity and how these timeless messages continue to speak to us today.

Through tutor prayer, assemblies, liturgical celebrations, and classroom reflection, students explore key moments in Salvation History, including:

  • Creation and caring for the world
  • The stories of Abraham, Moses, and the Covenants
  • The message of the prophets
  • The life and teachings of Jesus
  • The call to love, forgiveness, justice, and service

These themes are carefully connected to the experiences and challenges young people face in modern life. Students are encouraged to reflect on questions such as:

  • How do we care for one another and the world around us?
  • What does it mean to show faith during difficult times?
  • How can we build relationships based on love and respect?
  • How are we called to serve others in our community?

Our prayer resources aim to make scripture meaningful and accessible, helping students see that the Bible is not simply a historical text, but a living guide for daily life. Whether reflecting on friendship, family, mental wellbeing, social justice, or personal responsibility, students are invited to consider how Gospel values can shape their actions and choices.

By journeying through the Bible together, we seek to inspire all members of our community to live out the values of Faith, Love and Respect in everything they do, strengthening our shared mission of building a caring, compassionate, and Christ-centred school community.
