Welcome to The Trinity Catholic Sixth Form.  This is a centre for achievement and opportunity, distinguished by the care given to students and by the commitment of its teachers.  It is committed to setting the highest standards in all aspects of learning. Students are encouraged to aim high and to work hard so that they can meet their own personal goals and ambitions, while recognising their gifts, responsibilities and potential to make a positive difference to others.  We understand that the two years in which students are with us are two important, formative years on their journey to adulthood and independence.  We feel we can offer our students the academic and personal skills and values to prepare them for this important turning point in their lives.

The Sixth Form is an integral part of the whole school, and the pastoral team and subject teachers are dedicated to supporting and encouraging true personal and academic growth. We seek to develop young people who are confident in their own dignity, attentive to the needs of others and ready to contribute to the common good. It is a place where dreams and aspirations can be turned into reality. It is alive with enthusiasm, energy and purpose; it is a stimulating and lively place for young people to develop, as they become independent learners and mature citizens.

A high percentage of our own Year 11 pupils choose to stay on because of the special relationships that exist between the students and their dedicated teachers. Students wish to remain in the care of the teachers they have known and trusted, and who have helped them to fulfil their GCSE potential.  We also welcome applications from external applicants who wish to study within a Catholic context, where every young person is valued, respected and welcomed, and we are pleased to say that a welcoming, inclusive community awaits them.
