Dear Parent/Carer
I would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the Our Lady of Lourdes Music Service. Over the past 11 years we have delivered instrumental and whole class music lessons to over 6,500 students ranging from years 3-13. As a trust, music plays a huge part in our everyday life across our Academy supporting masses, primary concerts, secondary events, musicals, music tours and a celebratory multi academy concert each year.
We offer weekly shared and single instrumental lessons throughout the academic year, rotating or set around student timetables so the same lessons are not missed each week. We are also able to accommodate 30-minute lessons by prior arrangement, either before, during breaks and after school. We have a host of dynamic, inspiring teachers who can adapt to your child’s learning to enable them to join our extensive range of ensembles and clubs from rock bands to orchestras, choirs and big bands each week as they progress through their musical journey.

Please see below the instrumental music tuition costs for 2023/2024. As we are a non-profitable Academy Trust, lesson prices are always highly competitive and the best around the county. Fees are paid termly via your school’s cashless payment system. Paying in instalments is available as long as fees are paid in full by the deadline. A half term of notice is required if your child wishes to stop lessons. Hire of instruments is available for a small fee. If your child is in receipt of free school meals and would like music lessons, please make contact with your school.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching has transferred successfully online during school closures and has been very well received. Should Government guidelines in the future cause schools to close again, lessons will be uninterrupted by switching to online teaching.

20-minute Lesson Fees:
Shared Lesson (2 students) £75 per term
Single Lesson £150 per term
Instrument Hire £20 per year (if required)

You are able to sign up for a maximum of two lessons.
