On Wednesday 18th February, our Year 13 Applied Science students visited Derby University’s Crime Scene Facility as part of their Unit 23: Forensic Science coursework.
The day was led by Professor Ian Turner, Head of Biomedical and Forensic Science, who guided students through a series of realistic crime scene investigations where they collected and analysed evidence from multiple staged scenarios. Students also enjoyed a tour of the university’s impressive science facilities, including the new Super Lab.
