Duxford Trip

The Year 8’s recently went on a trip to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, Cambridgeshire, as part of their studies of the First and Second World Wars. We got to see Spitfires take off from an original Battle of Britain airfield, the Ops room, and an amazing collection of First and Second World War aircraft, tanks and guns, as well as more modern equipment and a collection of civilian liners showing the change in air travel over the last few decades. With so many exciting things to see, it is impossible to pick a highlight.
Mr Howell would like to thank all the staff who gave up their time to make this possible.
