Trinity recently sent a team of 4 to take part in the National Finals of Warhammer 40,000. The pupils got to play a series of games from all across the country. Mr Howell would like to thank them for their excellent sportsmanship and manners, they were fantastic ambassadors for the school. We won a number of games, but were ultimately overcome by some skilled opponents.
The Year 8’s recently went on a trip to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, Cambridgeshire, as part of their studies of the First and Second World Wars. We got to see Spitfires take off from an original Battle of Britain airfield, the Ops room, and an amazing collection of First and Second World War aircraft, tanks and guns, as well as more modern equipment and a collection of civilian liners showing the change in air travel over the last few decades. With so many exciting things to see, it is impossible to pick a highlight.
Mr Howell would like to thank all the staff who gave up their time to make this possible.
In May the Trinity wargaming club went to Warhammer World as part of the School League. We looked around their museum to get inspiration, before entering into a terrain-making competition. The creativity and teamwork on display were particularly pleasing, and Mr Howell would like to thank all those who took part.

On the 21st of March, the Trinity Wargaming Club went to Warhammer World for a day of wargaming. Amidst the rattle of automatic fire and the thunder of artillery the Trinity team played Warhammer 40,000 against 18 other schools.

Between Games, we also went on an inspiring and educational tour of the Wargaming Museum. Pupils were astounded by the skill of the painters on display and marvelled at the serried ranks arrayed in combat.

Mr Howell would like to thank all the pupils involved. They were a delight to take on a trip. Well-mannered and enthusiastic, the pupils were great ambassadors for their school and a number of the pupils received prizes for good sportsmanship and excellent manners, as well as for helping out players from other Schools.

The trinity wargaming club went on a trip to Warhammer world to play matches against other schools from across the country, including against a different trinity school for the right to be the best trinity. We also got a chance to make and paint models, including some expert tuition on how to improve our painting techniques. Finally, we went round the museum, examining the impressive armies on display.

Mr Howell would like to thank all the pupils for representing so well their school.
