On Tuesday 22nd February, 36 Year 8 students took part in the IET’s Faraday Challenge which is a national competition.
The Challenge Day was a day-long STEM activity that focuses on fun, hands-on problem solving, and critical thinking.
Students were awarded Industrial Cadets Challenger Award from the EDT (Engineering Development Trust). The winning team (Team 2) were also awarded a £10 voucher for each team member and a trophy for Trinity School.
The IET’s challenge leader was extremely impressed by how Trinity students used their prior knowledge and creativity to tackle the real-world problem given to them.
Although we are not through to the regional finals, we hope to compete again next year!
