On Monday we had the year 11 retreat day which involved every student from year 11 participating in various activities throughout the day based on the theme ‘Wellbeing and Faith’.
We started the day off by answering questions like ‘Where do you see yourself in 5 years?’ and they also shared their favourite memories from their time at Trinity. We then moved into our ‘faith’ workshops. We welcomed Fr Stanley and Fr Richard in school so the students could receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Fr Johnathan Cotton also came in to lead a workshop in which the students could ask him questions about anything they wanted to.
We continued workshops after the break with our ‘Wellbeing’ workshops that included things like sport and art. After lunch, the students took part in a guided reflection and the students put on their best singing voices in the game ‘Love Karaoke’. We ended the day with our final liturgy, reflecting on everything we had talked about throughout the day.
A great day was had by all and hopefully, it allowed everyone to feel a little less stressed.
