Whole School Mass

On Tuesday 24th September we celebrated our first Mass of the year. Unfortunately, as our community is growing so beautifully large, we couldn’t celebrate altogether in one place-so Years 8 and 10 had Mass with Fr Richard at St Teresa’s Church and everyone else was in the Sports Hall with Fr David.

We heard some interesting readings for the day, including a first reading from the book of Ezra with some very difficult to pronounce names! We also heard the Gospel where Jesus addresses everyone as his “Mother and Brother”, essentially explaining to us that we are all part of one family.

We had beautiful music at both locations, singing some of our favourite Trinity classics including This is Amazing Grace! A special thank you to all the readers and altar servers in Mass, volunteers from across the school who were brave enough to stand up in front of everyone to help with our celebration. The morning was a huge success and a really beautiful way to start the academic year of 2019-2020.
