In April, about 80 year 7 and year 8s chose to enter the national Junior Maths Challenge in their own time. Excellent effort! The 25 on-line questions are designed to stretch pupils to think “outside the box”, using their maths understanding to find quick methods to deduce the correct answer.
All participants received a certificate of participation and over 30 pupils received a Silver or Bronze award. The best 3 in each year received goodie bags.
Well done to everyone who took part!
