On Tuesday 3rd December, Trinity School held its Presentation Evening at the Albert Hall in Nottingham.
The event was a stunning celebration of the dedication, hard work and achievement of our pupils. It was a clear demonstration of how practice and perseverance can lead to truly outstanding results.
Our guest of honour, Bishop Malcolm McMahon, presented the awards and also gave a speech. The awards covered many areas of achievement, including academic, sporting, community and charity work.
We also welcomed back a large number of students who left the school last year, all very much still a part of the extended Trinity family. It was great to catch up and find out how they are getting on at university or in employment.
After the speeches and awards, we were treated to a set of truly spectacular musical performances. Piece after beautiful piece, the audience was spellbound by the energy, emotion and accomplishment of the choirs, orchestras, bands, ensembles and soloists. All the performers clearly loved being part of such a fantastic event.
The finale involved massed choirs and the concert band, four hundred pupils and staff, performing a medley of songs from Les Miserables. It fully deserved the extended, rapturous applause of the audience.
Thank You and Well Done
Thank you ever so much to all the pupils and staff who put in so much work to make the evening so memorable. Well done to all of the award winners, you are an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
