April saw the return of our whole school show, the first large-scale whole school event to take place for over 2 years due to the pandemic.
Lost in Music 2 is a new musical written by Miss White which follows on from the original Lost in Music, also written in-house by Miss White.
“The Students of TC High love musical theatre and, after watching series 1 of Lost in Music, series 2 has now been released. The excited students gather to watch their favourite musical numbers on their TV, as protagonists M&M go back in time to collect the forgotten songs that EBACC had erased from everyone’s memory. The students are magically transported from their bedrooms into the Lost in Music world, taking part in each musical number as they are reclaimed and returned to the ears of the world.
Featuring hits from ‘High School musical’, ‘Hamilton’, ‘Dear Evan Hansen’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘A Star is Born’, ‘Matilda’ and ‘Harriet’.
Will M&M defeat EBACC and bring back music, musical theatre, dance and drama? Or will the arts be lost forever and all creativity be gone for good?”
Lost in Music 2 was shown to audiences over 3 nights and also included a matinee performance to our feeder primary schools.
Miss White would like to thank every student and staff member involved in putting on this huge performance. Our sports hall was transformed into a theatre and a brand new script was brought to life thanks to everyone’s commitment to bringing the arts back after a long time of uncertainty due to the pandemic.
Trinity students can watch the performance back now on our Media Server and share it with their families.
Thank you to everyone who came to watch and supported the show, and the arts. We look forward to welcoming you back into school for more performances very soon.
