This year over 60 pupils took part in the whole school production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. The show was about Seymour, an orphan and nerd who is taken in and given a job by Mr Mushnik, the owner of a run-down florist. After an eclipse of the Sun, Seymour discovers a strange plant and begins to care for it and discovers the plant’s strange appetite. The show contained lots of familiar musical numbers such as ‘Skid Row’, ‘Suddenly Seymour’ and ‘Somewhere That’s Green’.
Lots of hard work and weekend rehearsals took place to produce another successful show. They were rewarded with a well-deserved standing ovation on the last evening with parents, family, and friends congratulating all the pupils and the staff who took part to produce a remarkable show.
A big thank you goes to all the pupils who gave up their time and of course, a huge thank you to all the staff who help to create such a fun show.
