Sixth Form Higher Education Day
On Friday 6th July, our Year 12 students spent the day planning for their future with the Sixth Form tutor team.
Having started the day with a brief talk about finances and the broader implications of going to university, the students then took part in a series of workshops. The topics covered included how to find out about universities and courses, researching the finer details of entry requirements and how to do themselves justice when writing their CV and personal statement.

The Panel of Experts
The free lunch went down a treat and after the last workshop of the day, the students gathered in the social area to meet our specially selected panel of experts, their tutors!
The tutors gave very honest testimonies about their own personal journeys following A-levels and reassured the students that this is an evolutionary process with lots of help and support along the way.
Big Decisions
The students have some big decisions to make over the coming weeks and months but hopefully after today they will feel less daunted by it all!
