Show Band Awarded Lottery Grant
The Trinity School Show Band has recently secured £10,000 from the National Lottery for the purchase of new instruments, music arrangements and towards the costs of running the training camps at Beaumanor. Obviously, this will help the band maintain their very high standard and will enable the band to develop new music using the new instruments.
Key to the success of the bid for funds was the development of talent and skills of new members. We look forwards to seeing those new members perform for the first time. Furthermore, the number of volunteers who give their time to the band freely was highlighted by the lottery as a positive contribution to the bid, both instructors and those involved in the 'Friends'.
We wait with baited breath to see what musical masterpieces will grace the field this year!
