On 15th May, ssstudents at Sscience Club made convection snakesss with paper, scissors and Bunsen burnersss.
A convection snake works by using the hot air currents that are formed from a Bunsen burner. The snakes looked super as they twirled in the hot air.
Science Club is on every Tuesday in room 61 from 12.45 – 1.15. The club is open to anyone in Years 7, 8 or 9. Activities coming up this term include rocket making and lava lamps. It's not all hot air!
