Chemistry Teacher Training
On Tuesday 3rd July, the Trinity Chemistry Department hosted a training day for local science teachers.
The event was in association with the Royal Society of Chemistry and was lead by Derek Denby.
Ten teachers from a variety of local schools listened with interest at alternative ways of teaching the key ideas of oxidation and reduction and electrochemistry. The event included new experiments to try as well as interesting twists on old favorites to make them easier to use. We were also give tips on extra questions to include when teaching these topics at KS4 and 5.
