Attenborough Nature Reserve Trip
On Thursday the 6th of October a group of Year 13 Applied Science students visited Attenborough Nature Reserve to learn about the management techniques used at the reserve and to collect data needed for their Ecology coursework.
The group learned about the different habitat areas within the reserve, collected plant species data in a managed and unmanaged area for comparison, were shown how to perform some statistical tests and participated in a hands on conservation task.
Thankfully the rain held off until the walk from the centre to the mini bus.
