Years 7 and 8 Hockey Champions
In March, the Years 7 and 8 Girls Hockey team competed in the Central Venue League on four Thursday evenings at Highfields Sports Centre.
The girls played in a wide variety of weather conditions and competed extremely well during the whole tournament.
The girls were crowned Champions of the tournament, beating all of their opposition at some stage along the way. They produced some brilliant results including a 3-0 win against NGHS, a 2-0 win against Becket and a 2-0 win against Ellis Guilford.
Over the duration of the tournament more than fifteen different pupils competed, demonstrating a true team performance.
The team worked well together and, as the tournament progressed, there was real evidence of improvement in all of their performances. It was a well deserved win, and they should be very proud of the first Trinity victory at this tournament.
