Year 7 Girls - City Basketball Champions
The Year 7 girls put on a fantastic fighting display in the City Basketball Finals to clinch victory in a very close competition.
The team had qualified for the finals with some very strong displays in the early rounds and they showed themselves to be very quick learners, developing a good set of fundamental skills.
In the semi-final they played Nottingham Academy and managed to edge them 10-6. It was close but the Trinity girls were never behind and looked comfortable.
The Final
In the final they played Big Wood and this was a very intense match.
Trinity scored first but every time they scored Big Wood would equalise, keeping themselves in contention. In the end it came down to a foul and Trinity were awarded a single point, which ultimately lead to them winning the match 9-8.
