Sports Day
On Tuesday 12th July Trinity held its annual sports day at the Harvey Hadden athletics stadium.
As usual, the day was a massive celebration of participation as well as a showcase for some very impressive performances. It was great to see so many taking part in their house colours, enjoying the wonderful and wonderfully loud support from the spectators in the stands.
The weather was good, not too hot or too cold, with some cloud cover but no threat of rain. This made it comfortable for all the runners, jumpers and throwers, letting them do their best.
Results
It was a very close competition, with the lead changing from house to house as the day went on. After the relays, the last event, the final scores saw Dalby as the winners. Congratulations to the Dalby team and to all the competitors from every house for taking part and for making it such an exciting day.

Sixth Form competition
Since 2008, Year 12 have also taken part in their own competition. This year saw the biggest turn-out so far, with almost all students participating in some way. The highlights for the spectators are the tug-o-war and the dizzying "mystery event" which involves running, spinning and falling over (but don't tell anyone).
