Sports Awards Assembly
On Friday 21st October, Trinity celebrated the participation, effort and success of students involved in sport in and out of school and in other House Competition events.
It was amazing to see just how many Trinity students take part in all kinds of sport and how much success our teams have achieved over the last year. Congratulations to all the sportsmen and sportswomen.
Special Guests
A number of guests from the world of sport were kind enough to attend and they answered questions from staff and students. They all spoke of the discipline, dedication, time and effort needed for success as well as the amazing feeling of achievement sport can offer.
Rebecca Addlington, OBE, double Olympic gold medallist for swimming, took time out from her training to come along and take part. Her words supported those of the other guests - practise, practise, practise.

The House Competition
The results of the House Competition were also announced at the assembly. Arrowsmith, Barlow, Campion and Dalby students had all been taking part in a wide variety of activities and events over the year and it was time to see which House had built up the most points.
After all the points had been counted, including those for merits, the winner was Dalby House. Well done to Dalby and to all those who took part in House activities last year. Keep up the great work!
