On Friday 25th January, Andy Cope, an author, visited Trinity to deliver a fun workshop to students. (Jan 2013)

On Monday 8th October, students took part in a performance poetry competition in the drama studio. (Oct 2012)
At the beginning of October, Year 12 student volunteers met up with their Year 7 partners for Paired Reading. (Oct 2012)
In September, Trinity hosted a reading event for five of the feeder primaries as well as some Trinity students. (Sep 2012)
Inspired by the Globe Theatre, pupils have been involved in various Shakespeare related activities. (Jul 2012)
On 17th July, pupils in the 1-2-1 tuition programme had a free lunch to celebrate their achievements. (Jul 2012)
In May, Year 8 students used iPads to create comic strip versions of their own war story dramas. (May 2012)
This year's theme was Games and the English Department ran the competition with all of the classes in Years 7, 8 and 9. (Oct 2011)
On 23rd September David Harmer, the children's writer, visited Trinity to deliver an Able Writers' Day to 34 Trinity and primary students. (Sep 2011)
On Tuesday 19th July, pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 celebrated their achievements and attended a special buffet-style lunch. (Jul 2011)
On Wednesday 29th June the students involved with the Paired Reading Scheme celebrated a successful year with a few nibbles and certificates. (Jun 2011)
The poetry writing competition was run by the English department for Years 7, 8 and 9, with every class asked to write a poem on the theme of Home. (Oct 2010)
On 13th October, thirty Year 7 and 8 students started this year’s paired reading scheme. Sixth formers sit and listen to the students reading and offer a friendly face around the school. (Oct 2010)
On Tuesday 6th July teachers and students attended a celebration and awards ceremony at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel to celebrate the success of a research project on narrowing the gender gap in English. (Jul 2010)

On Tuesday 22nd June a group of Year 9 and 10 Gifted and Talented students went to the North e-learning centre to put together the fourth edition of The Trinity Tribune. (Jun 2010)
Eight keen readers from Year 9 enjoyed listening to published author Samantha Mackintosh read from her novel 'Kisses for Lula' at Bilborough Library on Wednesday 16th June. (Jun 2010)
On 23rd February 29 Year 11 students visited the Royal Centre, Nottingham to take part in this year's Poetry Live, hosted by the AQA exam board and chaired by the Chief Examiner. (Feb 2010)
In November, a Trinity student was presented with the under 16 Young Journalist award for the East Midlands for an article about a new oral scanner invention. (Nov 2009)
Having reported for The Trinity Tribune, our school newspaper, last year, two students were invited to 3M to see a new oral scanner and to write an article. (Nov 2009)
Trinity Education Improvement Partnership is involved with a number of exciting projects with our partner primary schools. These include storytelling activities and art workshops. (Nov 2009)
