On Thursday 22nd March, The Trinity School Music Department hosted its annual Spring Concert in the sports hall.
The concert featured a wide variety of performances from twenty different ensembles and including solo performances by two talented Year 13 pupils.
The event was compered by Mr Bennett and featured performances by Lower School Orchestra, Concert Band, Swing Band, Steel Pans, Single Reed Group, Flute Group, Troubadour and Boys Vocal Group, to name but a few. The pieces performed reflected a huge array of musical genres, from 16th century madrigal to contemporary popular music.
Well Done and Thank You
Well done to all of the students who took part in the performances, without whose dedication and talent the concert would not have been possible. Many thanks also go to the Trinity staff who played a part in preparing such an entertaining evening, particularly the music department for the time spent rehearsing their ensembles to such a high standard.
