Aquinas College Band Visit
The Aquinas College Band, from Melbourne, Australia, and currently on tour, visited Trinity on Thursday 29th March.
The band, comprising 38 musicians and six staff, arrived in the morning and, after a hearty breakfast, rehearsed with Trinity Concert Band for the morning and the early part of the afternoon.
During the day our visitors also mingled, playing football on the yard at lunchtime, and were very complimentary about our school.
Concert
The combined bands, almost 100 strong, gave a fantastic concert to Years 7 and 8 in the afternoon. They were lead by Mr Barber from Aquinas and Mr Cardwell from Trinity. Many of the students commented on the quality of the music they heard and said it inspired them!
