MFL Shakespeare
In June, The Modern Foreign Languages Department celebrated Shakespeare along with other departments in the school.
Mrs Rogers’ 9EQ French class and Miss Caley’s 9ES class spent a productive lesson learning about the life of Shakespeare and looking at some of his more famous plays, all in costume and through the medium of French. As a piece of follow-up work they have been designing the cover of a new edition of one of the plays – have a look and see what you think!

German Quotations
Mrs Rogers’ Year 12 German class also spent an hour reading about the life and works of Shakespeare and have recorded some of his more famous quotations in German – have a listen and see if you can recognise any!
