Geodesic Domes

At the start of June, pupils in Year 9 investigated and constructed geodesic domes in their Maths lessons.

The domes (also known as geodomes) are one of the strongest structures with no internal supports known to man. The students began by investigating different structures made out of cocktail sticks and sweets, before moving on to construting the domes themselves.
