Inter-House Maths Competition
The last three days in June saw the first Trinity inter-house maths competition. The competition had three rounds, carried out over three lunchtimes and teams of four students from Years 8 and 9 represented each house.
The first round was the group round which required each team to work together answering ten questions in 45 minutes.
The second round was the mini-relay, in which the teams were split into pairs and had series of six minutes to answer four questions, passing each answer on to the other pair to help them with their next question.
The final round was the relay race in which teams had to answer questions and then race to hand in the answer and take the next question back to their teams.

Congratulations and Well Done
Year 12 A level maths students also volunteered to help run the event by checking each team's answers.
The students all really enjoyed taking part and all the teams answered lots of questions correctly, dealing with some challenging and thought provoking topics. After a close run final round the competition was eventually won by Dalby house who showed lots of enthusiasm and team spirit throughout!
