Year 7 Bakewell Trips
On Wednesday 11th and Friday 13th July, all Year 7 pupils visited Bakewell, a very popular tourist destination in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
The pupils worked very well indeed on three activities throughout the day, especially those pupils on Friday when the weather was less than perfect!
The activities were designed to look at the degree of influence of tourism on Bakewell and included land use surveys, traffic and pedestrian counts and questionnaires.
We were all very impressed with the way the pupils approached members of the public, they were a real credit to the school.
