iPads in English
In May, Year 8 students used iPads to create comic strip versions of their own war story dramas.
The students have been looking at poetry from the first World War in English. They produced a final assessed piece of drama telling a war story. The ipads were then used to translate these dramas into comics.

Comic Life
The students photographed still images from their dramas, then edited a comic strip version using these photos. They could add speech bubbles, special effects and narrator boxes. The end results have been very rewarding.
