Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Year 10 Training Walk
On Saturday 24th March, 31 Year 10 students undertook their Duke of Edinburgh's Award training walk around the Vale of Belvoir. The walk was to assess and prepare them for the overnight expedition in April in the Sherwood Forest Area.

Training
Throughout 2012, the students have been training for the expedition section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. So far they have completed training on map skills, how to use a compass, cooking on portable gas stoves, how to put up tents, first aid and route planning.
