Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Silver Award Presentation
On Tuesday 13th March, Trinity students received their Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award at the Nottingham Arts Centre, joining sixty young people from across the city at the presentation evening.
Mr Miller and the parents of the students proudly looked on as the Lord Mayor of Nottingham (Councillor Michael Wildgust) and Chief Constable Julia Hodson of Nottinghamshire Police presented the awards to the young people. Some of the young people recollected what they did for certain areas of the awards, with one playing the saxophone.

Achieving the Award
To achieve their Duke of Edinburgh's Award the students had to work in four areas;
- Skill - such as a musical instrument or other practical skills
- Physical - a sport or other physical activity
- Volunteering - a service for the community
- Expeditions - a self sufficient, planned route over 3 days
Well Done and Thank You
All of this takes dedication and commitment and all of the young people in the city should be congratulated for their efforts.
