Sculpture Week
During the February half term holidays, a group of talented Year 9 Art students took part in an Arts Award workshop.
Students attended for the entire week, working with an artist in residence at College Street to produce an exciting assortment of 2D and 3D work to be assessed for the Bronze Arts Award.

Inspired and Engaged
Students were inspired by the artefacts at Wollaton Hall, in addition to the work made by Anish Kapoor on exhibition at Nottingham Castle. Students engaged with the work there and they responded to it in very creative, imaginative and exciting ways.
The experience offered students the opportunity to develop their understanding of how artists work as well as developing their creative skills. Students who took part thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
