AS 2011
Students completed one unit of work for the coursework element of the course based on the theme of the ‘City’.
Students embarked on the theme by visiting London art galleries and recording their experiences of the city in the form of drawings and photographs. Students responded to work from other artists and designers then experimented with their ideas to produce a final outcome in either 2D or 3D, making connections to the artists researched at the start of the unit. The examination unit centres on the theme of ‘Mystery and Imagination’.
