Art Workshop
Over three days in February, approximately sixty students from Years 7, 8 and 9 were involved with Artists' Workshop in ceramics, lead by the artist Richard Gibson.
Pupils were in the Gifted and Talented cohort or had shown an aptitude during their Art lessons. Obviously not everyone could attend due to restrictions.
This was an exciting opportunity to experience working with the artist Richard Gibson and to develop skills in ceramics. Pupils were inspired by Richard's work and also by artists such as Peter Randell-Page and Antony Caro.
It will now take several weeks to fire all pupils work but hopefully pupils will be able to take home all their work by Easter.
