GCSE 2009
The GCSE Art students have spent the last two years producing two units of coursework. One of these units was based on the theme of 'Inside' and the other connected to the 'Pop Art' movement of the 1950s where artists took art to the mainstream by producing paintings, prints and sculpture inspired by everyday objects.
Since Easter, pupils have been working on the GCSE examination question 'I, Me, Mine'. Students researched the theme individually and made personal responses linking their ideas to an artist or relevant movement.
